What is in store for us next?
Greece on the verge of Bankruptcy and its people rioting on the streets; the worst ever oil spillage in the Gulf of Mexico possibly leading to death of many seabirds and wildlife (and many polluted Gulf beaches); interruption to the world’s airlines as the result of an “ash cloud” leading to massive disruption to people’s lives and businesses; stock market crashes around the world.
With all of the above (and more) going on since the last edition of the Brief we might all ask “what is in store for us next” as well as wondering what we can do to make it better. Sadly, I do not have an answer and am yet to meet anyone who does!
So, I thought it would be worth reproducing the following:-
“It’s times like the ones you’re facing today that force us to try harder and dig deeper. Times like these move us to find the greatness we each have inside, and in doing so, rediscover the greatness that defines us as a nation.”
The above was a message recently given by President Barack Obama in the USA and perhaps we could do worse than take this message on board!
